The Inverness Fine Art Festival School Zone features incredible artwork from all Citrus County Schools art programs, public and private. When browsing the tents, the amazing variety, beautiful colors, and creative compositions will impress even the most distinguished art connoisseur.
The festival is delighted to provide the opportunity to showcase the talents of our elementary and middle school students. Supporting the art programs by featuring these young artists feeds their artistic dreams. The four high schools display distinguished photography, drawings and paintings. Lecanto High School students also highlight the very popular pottery program and are selling their work. Purchase a vase or bowl to support the program to ensure its continuation. An added bonus to the School Zone, provided by the Lecanto High National Art Honor Society students, is face-painting. Be sure to bring the whole family to get their faces painted and support these talented students. Lastly, the Inverness Fine Art Festival is proud to display student animation videos inside the Valerie Theatre throughout the weekend. While this is not in the School Zone, it is just a short walk around the square and admission is free! |
